Ok no way would i ever sell rowan! ever lol but i am doing this partly out of interest and partly cos we'll have to put his insurance up probably next year (even though i know u need a farrier or something but just to give a rough idea)
So rowan when i bought him was:
2years 6 months
to make 15.1hh
nr leopard spotted appaloosa x welsh d
really good attitude to life- inquisitive rather than automatically scared
first time went out for a walk alone was really chilled
likes cuddles from little kids
been long-reined and had tack on
amazing paces

now (im going to do it this time next year to make the valuation worth while)
4 years 3 months
backed as 3 year old and brought back in this year
entering young dressage horse classes
competing prelim/ novice dressage
lots of expression and activity in hind leg as well as high foreleg action.
amazing walk commented on by many people (not making it up lol)
hacking out alone and in company
fine with all traffic (know that now!)
very well balanced canter (did circles straight away without difficulty)
quick learner
popped over small fence (hasn't done this yet!)

in a few years time as 7 year old
hopefully! doing medium/ advanced medium dressage (not sure is optomistic? that is going up a level each year)
jumped a british novice sj round
xc practise
done coloured horse showing well.

soooo in case u haven't actually seen yet:

ok thanks

well you can up his value on his insurance and they will up his premiums but dont actually think you will get any more insurance cover! if you add LOU your premiums will rise by about 40% p a, but cover remains the same and unless you have the misfortune to break a leg or get a killer colic they wont pay out on insured price only market value. they will only PAY out insured value on BEVA recommendations (colic or broken leg)if the horse could remain paddock sound (very vague but basically if it can limp around) they would only give you 60% of insured value.
