Im thinking of selling one of my horses, its been really hard trying to decide if to let him go but i think ive made my mind up.
im not sure on a price so can i have some help with what you think he is worth please.

he is a 16.1hh 7 year old cob x tb gelding, i have done mainly bsja with him and he has won £650 actual and just under £300 notional, jumped up to newcomers and placed at county shows, came 2nd in amateur final last year and qualified for final this year too. he has schooled x country and loved it, hacks out on his own and in company, he can be a bit spooky sometimes but is not silly. and he is well schooled and easy to to do everything with.
 
I have no idea on horse prices at all..... but sounds like a nice chap I'll give you a tenner!! (sorry someone with knowledge on these things will be along shortly to actually help!!)
 
On the basis of horses that I've been looking at lately I would say more around the £10k mark, although to sell quickly probably more like £8k.
 
sounds like a good sort, can't help you on price as this isn't the type of horse I would ever be looking to buy, but as an aside i wouldn't even bother mentioning spookiness unless it is a real problem, at this level you won't be attracting total beginners to whom it might matter.
 
he had newcomers clears for last year and think he has 2 at the mo (nearly out of newcomers so dont think i will get them before he is out) he qualified 90, 1.00 and 1.10 2nd rounds and has qualified 90 and 1.00 final.
