Please not he is definitely not up for sale and will never for the considerable future be lol. He's my dream horse and i hanging onto him for quite a while!
i am just interested to see how much you thought Row was worth. Also, to see if he is worth any more now than what we spent on him last year when we bought him. also will probably be upping his insurance next year so udeful for then.
So for those who don't know, Row is 3 years 5 months. 1/2 welsh, 1/4 tb and 1/4 appaloosa.
He has been backed this year in walk, trot and canter before being turned away 1st july.
He went to his first show in august and achieved 2 1sts in the only classes he entered (coloured and youngstock)
He has good conformation for a appaloosa and has huge, expressive, excellent paces in all 3 (pictures below) And ideally should have a dressage career or showing.
He has amazing, friendly character and is "bombproof" on roads and well behaved at shows.
Currently 14.3/15hh to make 15.1/2hh. Ideal to do young dressage horse classes when brought back into work next year.

I am no good at the pricing thing either, but I love him, also this post may bounce it back onto the first page. I would guess (emphasis on guess) price at about £2000, maybe a little more, I'm always on the side of under-pricing...in a year he could easily be twice that I would have thought.

I would also suggest about £2k maybe £2.5k but that's putting in to consideration that he's only 3 and a half! Have to say though he is absolutely stunning!!! I'm not really keen on appys but he's a real looker!! Couldn't help but notice he's got a heart on his bottom in the last pic :D!!

I'd say more. Not great at pricing but maybe 3.5k I think he looks to have great potential for both dressage and showing like you said looks to have lovely paces and a great attitude and also very striking. Harder to find than people think.

Yea I figured he'd b worth a lot more next year.
he has a heart on both sides. On his right side its nearer the tail on his quarters :)
He has quite decent breeding with his appy side, his sire is puzzleman and his g-sire is cochise 2.

I'd say £2500-£3000 atm, obviously more next year when it isn't winter and he's back in work - would say about £3500 next year, but think there is a cap on price for 4 year olds. People seem to be more comfortable buying a 5 year old. I'd be wary of doing too much with him early on if you wanted to sell him (I know you said you don't) as it puts so many people off with youngsters

yea i'm really careful about doing too much with him. i only rode him for about 2 months on and off before turning him away the 1st july and he's going to be off until sort of april time :). just been bombproofing him (hes not scared of anything :O) and taking him for walks in hand since july.

He's lovely! He is probably worth about £2000 as he has been backed and broken and you describe him as 'bombproof'. But he still only three so is very green so I wouldn't think he would be worth anymore than that given the current market.

I'd say about £1600 at his current height ... it's a funny height to sell, just over pony height.
If he grows, I'd say £2000 - £2500.
