Transport a pony from Yorkshire to Essex? I would ring transport companies to ask but its easter sunday?
Anyone done a similar legnth journey- if reasonable i may have found a pony!

work out how many miles it is door to door first, that'll be the first thing they ask you, i think.
iirc it's vaguely a pound per mile for the round trip from the transporter's base, but i might be completely wrong. shared journeys are less, obviously.

Usually around £200 if they share a delivery with other pick ups on the way

We paid around £250-£300 to get G from Essex to Warwickshire...i'd imagine a bit more than that.

If you can get in on a shared journey it would be cheaper.
The pound per loaded mile sounds about right. I know someone who is 80p per loaded mile, or was the last time i checked.

I just looked on their calander of shared loads and there is one on friday from yorkshire to oxfordshire if that helps. it's worth trying them
