Am going to see a horse this week(horse 21??? losing count..but famous last words sounds a good possibility so far)! Seller seems very honest told me warts and all.

Someone suggested I livery it as its a bit younger than I was looking for just to make sure we get off on right foot under an experienced eye, probably only for 2-3 weeks temporary. I can continue having lessons then with same person at home.

This is all speculation but I have not paid for livery for years! Have no idea what it costs?

Probably turn out 24/7. As it wont be stabled in future. How much per week would this cost approx?

Thank you

i think you will get many differant answers, i think it an area appropriate thing, i get looks of horror asking for £55 to 65 per week for full livery,

It honestly varies so much depending on where you are in the country. When i almost moved down to london for work i looked at livery all around the south east what we call part livery up here, they call assisted DIY down there ( 5 out of 7 days done - on those 5 days horse is -fed x2, t/o, bring in, rug change hay/ etc no exercise no grooming ) was over 500/ month for somewhere with no facilities and crappy t/o more like 800 if you want a decent school or hacking. I pay less than half that up in the north west, and have 24/7 t/o if i wanted, small sand school, grass school and off road hacking onto gallops. It totally depends on location more than anything else.

You will need to find out the prices in your area. As has already been said it varies a lot in different parts of the UK and also within the same area. Good luck.

agree all areas are different in central scotland i was paying £280 per month for part livery bedding and haylage included. x
