how much is my vet going to charge for....?

hey, got the vet coming out this afternoon as my boy has a sore back/hips ? not sure..?? anyways i think she will prescribe me some danilon or bute to make him more comfortable, how much will i be charged roughly ? any ideas? thankyou

Depends on individual vets i paid around £75 for 20 danilon and call out plus look at sore area last month.

I paid about £75-£80 when my horse hurt his back and that included a course of Danilon, the call out and the lameness work up.

You need to allow for call out charge if your vets do that usually based on mileage

examination can range from £25 upwards

Box of 60 danilon £75 including vat

Then of course any follow visits or Manipulator visits

Youve got an expensive vet. Call out here is £40.00 examination is £15.00

little update vet came out did a thorough check (1 and half hours she was with us) touch wood she doesnt think its to bad so he is just on danilon for two weeks think it will be around 80p a sachet. and then she is coming back in two weeks to check him again.
