How much is this horse worth???

£4000 INCLUDING all tack, if she is as described and you love her and she's perfect. And if the showing she is doing is a higher than local level (ie county shows, POnies UK etc)

She is on the older side but you can;t put a price on safety. 15 is no age for a lot of horses but some do start showing their age. You could have many many years left in her.

The mare is a 14.2hh schoolmistress that places regularly at unaffiliated shows and at 15years old she probably has many years left in her. Safe, fun and wins rosettes, she sounds like the sort that will still sell in this climate. She is worth alot more than £1500 if she really is as described and has fantastic confo too.

What do they want for her?

I agree especially as people don't seem as put off 15yr olds as they used to be. If I was especially looking for safe, been there done that I would probably pay £2500

Without tack I think 3k tops purely bcause of the age. but there are people out there paying big money for them. the horse market has really changed over the last 18 month according to a dealer near me, he said a few years ago everyone wanted warmbloods and tbs & ISH's he used to get a delivery of horses from ireland and continent every week & everyone wanted good competition horses but now they've gone out of fashion and people want a safe allrounder, his cobs are selling for more money than 16hh+ ish and wb and tbs he sells cobs everyweek but he can't shift the big horses now! oh well they do say the wheel always turns!!!!!!!!! weird tho how there are trends/fashions in horses and riding too.
