how much is your livery

£110 month for stable and individual paddock + £7 weekly adlib hay {£9 per week winter)
small bags shavings bought off YO @ £6 each

so at the moment (summer) i pay £110 + £7 x 4 = £28 = £138 plus approx i bag shavings a week (horse in day out night) £6x4=24
monthly livery DIY equals : £162.

For that i have access to all weather arena 60x20mts + showjumps, lunge ring, good hacking. good sized stable in american barn + individual turn out strip.

would people also prefer own turn out paddock or turned out as a herd in larger field ? I would love where I am to have individual turnout

I pay £85 a month and for that I get:
Large stable
individual turnout (2 paddocks which I can rotate as I please)
space in feed/store room
space in locked tack room
2 pallets worth of space to store hay and straw
massive rubber surface school with flood lights and jumps
lunging ring
off road hacking round farmers field which have little xc jumps as well :)
oh and free parking for my trailer

Its the cheapest I've found round my area with such good facilities.

Personally prefer individual turnout otherwise my mare gets a bit attached and needy

I am on full livery now but previous diy yard was as follows:
Livery £135 per month
TO/BI mon-fri £80 per month
Hay £60 per month (£5 bale)
Straw £40 per month (£2.5 bale)

If you needed full livery it is £10 per day.

This is stable, group day turn out, large outdoor arena, sandschool, jumping field, some hacking, use of jumps ect.

For full livery in the area you are looking at an average of £100 per week.

Lots of people do like the option of individual paddocks, wouldn't bother me personally as he is fine in a herd.

155 a week and 135 a week (gold and silver full livery).

two indoor arenas, two outdoor (one lit) with all-weather surfaces and use of all the jumps. one 60x40, one 80x40 and two huge arenas.
individual or group turnout.
clipping (gold only), holding for farrier/vet.
schooling/lunging.
horse walker.
lunge pen.
they'll arrange worming and jabs if owner wants them to.
yard lorry for shows/emergencies.
bridles and girths cleaned daily after use.
rugs, numnahs and boots washed on site.
overnight security and CCTV.
secure parking for lorries/trailers.
secure tack room/store room and rug room.
heated rug racks.
spacious stables with good lighting.
decent hacking.

expensive but worth it imo.

I pay £130 a month for DIY, then £2/day for someone to feed him in the morning, so £170 a month really. £2.75 per bale of straw, that's working out at less than one a month atm as he's on 24/7 turnout, which will hopefully continue til December. He's turned out with two others.

I have a shed to keep all my feed etc in, there's a tack room and arena. Hay is about £4 a month ish atm, again I'm not really using any right now.

Heck, i want a place at your yard :)

Mine is £25 p/w per horse for the following:

12x12 stable with automatic drinkers in a big newly built american barn
Huge rug rack/shelf
Free unlimited storage for bedding/hay/haylage
Free trailer/lorry park
Grazing (8 acres per horse for the year)
Unlimited use of the floodlit outdoor arena
Unlimited hacking on the grounds or out on the road
Nightly check-ins
Unlimited space in the tackroom

£50 a month for large stable and large individual turnout. No school but for the price I can rent a school locally as and when I need it. I personally prefer individual turnout as my horse gets beaten up when in a herd! He's happy too.

I pay:
Summer - 18 Pw (76 pm) and that's 24hr turnout with large stable
Winter - 24 pw (96 pm) and thats turnout day stable at night. Also Inc as much haylage as you want

I pay £80 a month.

For this i get a:-
12 x 18 stable - all matted with hay bars,
22 acres of grazing - all fields with automatic troughs in them,
a sand school with a good surface,
jumps (which are mine but they've set up a nice place for me to store them under cover to avoid weather damage),
my own tackroom/feed room - 1 per horse if i want
12 x 18 area to store mucking out stuff in (i share this with 1 other livery)
Use of a hay barn, to store my round bales of hay and straw,
On site hay if we want
Tea, coffee, fridge facilities
Horses are checked as someone on the yard all the time and when they are in in the winter, YO wanders down to say good night (not horsey at all bless her) and check they all "look" ok,
Great hacking - beach 20 mins away and common riding 30 mins away
Area to park a trailer - i have a horsebox so no good for me.

I feel that £80 pm is well worth the money for what i get :), it's a lovely yard!

ETA: we get all year turnout as well, we choose to bring in but if we wanted to leave out, i don't think it would be a problem.

£160 a month for "part livery" where everyday (including weekends, bank holidays etc) she is fed breakfast, turned out, mucked out, hayed, watered, paddock poo picked and water done, hay put out if necessary, brought in, fed dinner and late night check.

I only need to exercise her when I go up! And I pay £20 a week for 2 bales of hunter shavings and £55 for a huge bale of hay that lasts a month. Feed, I probably buy two bags of mix and one bag of chaff a month for about £25. We have a small outdoor school (but it's big enough for me) with some jumps and lots of hacking.

I pay £100 per month ..in herts .. On a geldings only yard .. My stable is round the corner ( along with one other stable ) so very private ;)
So we get..
I 12x12 stable

And nice people ;)

Have had mine at home but we are moving house so am venturing back into livery, albeit two very different liveries!

My TB is going full livery on a yard with one indoor, two large outdoors, large XC course and great hacking. For £80 a week he gets a great stable, matting, shavings, ad lib hay, basic feed, individual turnout with poo picking. All stable duties done. Parking for trailer included. Great tackroom and storage and good security with owners on site. They also run regular comps and it will give me chance to bash our dressage into shape over the winter (well that's the theory!).

My son's pony is going to a basic yard for £35 per week. For this she will get get turn out/bring in/skip out. Great stable and herd turnout with option to fence off a section of field around stable if I want to (prob will at spring time as she can be a fatty). Arena being constructed and will be ready by spring. The hacking is great too.

I envy you all! My livery is taken out of my wage but:

GRASS LIVERY £270pcm!

Inc hay or haylage in field, group turnout of up to 8 in a field. Use of sandschool, outside tie up area, show jump field.

I hate the Surrey hills!

Part (stable, pair or individual turnout, 7 days care, feed hay, bedding etc minus riding and grooming) £490

£20 PW for own field with field shelter, use of a stable but as my girl lives out its used for storage, good hacking and can rent a school just up the road, water, not permanent electric but use of an extension lead when required for clipping/vet visits, lovely yard owners who live on site and we always give each others neds a slice of hay if we don't feed together so they don't feel left out

Unfortunately in the very expensive SE (Surrey/Hampshire)
But it's probably the cheapest in the area.
It's £75/week for part livery (DIY at the weekends)

Includes;
2 hard feeds a day
Turnout- All year
Large stable
Muck out
Rug change
Attendance for vets/farrier etc
Unlimited hay/haylage
Unlimited straw
1 Olympic sized outdoor arena
Full set of showjumps
XC course (only to be used during lessons)
Good hacking
Instructors on site.

The amount of hay and straw my boy gets through I doubt they make any money on him.
