How much is your tack insured for?

Evening all,

I am just having a tidy up and have just sorted through millions of pieces of paper from my insurance company. I have noticed my tack is only insured for 1k...having thought about this it would cost a lot more to replace all the things in my tack room.

What is your tack insured for?

I think that £1000 is about a standard amount. That's what mine is insured for.

And mine - but it only covers saddle / bridle. Its probably not enough but when I saw how much it would cost me a year to up the amount its insured for, I didn't think it was worth it!

mine is only insured for 1k - but that doesn't include any rugs etc only what is in the tack room as the other stuff is covered by the yard policy (riding school) as it is deemed to be needed easy access to for the horses welfare(bit strange)

I have my saddles insured as separate items on my policy (NFU) and the rest of my stuff is insured for £1000. I think (must check) that the £1000 cover includes rugs.
