Okay, but seriously, how much for this lad?

Unknown breeding, bought off travellers as a yearling by an old lady who we bought him off. He is 8, we think.

Piebald with two wall eyes, full mane, tail an feathers.

Placed 1st or 2nd, every inhand show we've entered, qualifying for CHAPs.

No ridden showing results as he was too unfit to canter

Completely safe and bombproof, hunted safely with 12 yr old and lady. Looks after novices well.

Had never done anything before, and was very green and fat 8 months ago when we bought him, and have been schooling him since. Found cantering really hard, but now we jump x-poles on three foot cups... So about 1ft 6" in center I think... From a trot and can canter around the school without breaking into trot and is bending well and becoming more balanced.

Oh, and he's a 15.2hh gelding.

No pictures of him jumping on my comp I'm afraid, but what do you think?

(Not selling him I don't think, just would be nice to know)

Wow he is really super. You must get out and show him. I would love to own him, If i had lots of money I'd pay5k + for him, at least. If he does well in showing then don''t be surpise if some one gives you a blank cheque. He really is fab... and such a pretty head too which is a rarity on coloured cobs..

Yes, lovely markings, good size and substance. That sort of size and build are in demand as they can live out happily, carry a man or woman but are still not too tall for the more verticaly challenged. I think everything is overpriced at the mo, but I would have thought 3 - 3.5K. If you get him doing more this year then who knows. Ultimately it would depend on what someone wants to pay.
