One of my bestest friends G, who is the same age as me has lost 3 children, 2 alone last year. To help her with her grieving her husband who isn't horsey got her a pony on loan. G loves horses and it has always been her greatest wish to have her own horse. She got Pan as an early xmas pressie in November. She has been having lessons and doing EVERYTHING right by the horse.
Today, while grooming her before a ride, Pan takes oppotunity to barge past G while she was trying to put the bridle on. She got out of her stable, then slipped on the yard. Turns out she broke her pelvis, so was PTS at 10.30 am.
It feels as if God (and Iam not religious) is reminding her that 'her things' are never meant to be kept.
How much more can 1 person who has a heart of gold take?
Poor G, I feel desperate for her.
