How much oil?

Ive started inky on his fitness regime in preparation for the showing season. Weve had alittle set back in that once he was clipped after wintering out he had lice

so his coat isnt best ever. Ive started to add some linseed oil to help with his coat and for coat shine but im not sure how much i should be adding??

He is a 33" miniature horse weighing about 110kg. How much oil should i add for just coat shine and not weight gain??

anything up to 1ml per kg is the rule I've heard but think that is for weight gain so would suggest maybe half of this which would be 55ml per day?

50 mls per day should be more than enough - and it would be wise to still keep an eye on his weight.
