how much per week for three stables and small acerage?

Looking for some advice. My aunt has a small yard and is looking to rent it out as a whole to some one but as it's odd sizes we are unsure of what to ask.

There's one stable that's 18 ft x 12ft. One stable that's 8ft x 8ft and a 3rd that's 12ft x 8ft. At the back is a 16ft long and 8ft wide tack/storage room, hay storage shelter and also a small old office/room. Hard standing. Running water hose and automatic troughs and then the grazing which is only 2 acres and quarter of an acre paddock.

South Wales. Any ideas?

That seems fairly steep for the use of 2 stables, an 8x8 is not big enough to count as it will only be suitable for a tiny pony, 12x 8 is again only going to suit someone with a pony, if the hacking is excellent you may get more but I would think somewhere in the region of £20 per box per week, so £160 a month for 2 with a token extra charge if they use the third one for a mini pony.

Could you not put a lease up for tender, i.e. sealed offers by a certain date?

She could see what happens if she advertises, it may well be that someone with several small ponies comes along and it suits them as it is, she could still have the option of taking a wall down if it is someone with 2 bigger ones, the limited turnout will mean some restriction on turnout to whoever takes it on, maybe putting in a small hard standing area would be worthwhile and could make it more attractive for a tenant.

That would be more attractive. Somebody local wanting private diy perhaps. 2 acres would have to be managed well to cope all year round if the horses were big. If your aunt will be providing all land and fence management and the area has good hacking perhaps £25 a week per horse, but if the occupier is expected to manage the land £18 a week per horse.
