How much Sedalin for Clipping??

Im reallly confused on how much sedalin im supposed to give my 16hh mare for clipping! shes normally good with a twich for her body but the closer we get to her face the worse she gets

any ideas on how much to give her to make her safer and calmer???

I gave mine 3ml to get a decent effect. They have to calm before you give it or it wont work. If you are not sure then go for 2ml to start with. Also remember they can still react violently under Sedalin.

i would give her half a tube (5 mls) 45 mins to an hour before you start clipping! give her the sedalin and leave in a very calm, peaceful situation, without loud noises or distractions. do remember that doped horses are not reliable in their reactions, can still kick, or appear to very dopey then freak out in all directions. be careful, make sure your clippers are running well, with good blades, and a spare pair, a twitch on hand, a circuit breaker, and that your horse is as clean as possible BEFore you start to ensure you can do a speedy clip!

Pleasebe careful Sedalin doesnt always work for clipping
