How much shall we sell her for?

Well we are planing on advertising my horse in the next few days/weeks, but don't know how much to advertise her for.
So what do you think? Price in relation to the current market please

Very eyecatching 14.2hh (but registered BSJA as a horse..can be swapped down to ponies) rising 6 bay mare, TB X WB. Good breeding- sire Erimus Top Of The Morning.
Affiliated showjumping- jumped 2 BNs, 1 very unlucky pole down in both in the jump off's (hopefully going to try and take her to a couple more BSJA shows before we sell her to get a BN dc). Amazing jump, scope to go really far. Doesn't spook at fillers etc. Placed Unaff
Xcountry schooled, water ditches drops steps etc no problem.
Won her first dressage test with 67%. Beautiful paces.
2nd in her first WHP.
Everywhere she goes she gets a handfull of compliments.
Easy to do, needs a stick behind her to get in the box but nothing serious. Hacks, clip, shoe, watch etc.
Will go far in ANY discipline. Well mannered. Not a nasty mareish bone in her body. Snaffle mouth and no martingale for all phases. Not a novice ride as still a bit green.

Forgot to add:
Done pony club rally, where she learnt leg yield and walk piroettes (sp), got admired by pony club DC and every mother there! behaves brilliantly in open fields.
 
At a guess £5000 perhaps i dunno not been looking at prices of other ponies atm could prob get more but one question, Tou say snaffle mouth but do my eyes decieve me and do i spot a dutch gag?

yeah, we tried her in that gag a few times but she was too sharp in it so we are back to a snaffle now- will have to remember to mention that lol!
 
Good luck selling her, she's lovely. But, she has a gag in all the pics though - and it says she is snaffle mouthed.

Just read replies re. gag.
 
I would imaginearound 3-3.5K as she's not quite the finished article (too sharp for a novice child) and looks a bit green still over jumps. nice though.
think 5K would be very steep :S
Have you jumped her over anything decent at home?
 
But i would have thought at 14.2 she wouldn't be bought for novice child?? More competent teen looking for something fast and fun??
 
ooo i dont 'do' ponies,, but that for me is an UNTAPPED POTENTIAL pony, really nice athletic type, lovely little event pony!!! £6k!!

Well i'd say around the 4.5k mark and be prepared to take 4k i think she is lovely and with the right rider would no doubt do well.

4K is what we thought, but looking at h&h some horses have done alot less and are priced at about 6k!

We did wonder about doing a hunter trial (which is in 2 weeks) on her, but it depends when we decide to sell her.

She would be fine with a little rider- she has never done anything naughty and never took off with me, she just likes to take on her fences. Flatwork though anyone could ride her (can be a bit spooky to start with but settles down really well).

She is a rediculously quick learner, considering she could barely walk 3 months ago!

Shame, if she was a hand bigger I would have kept her for my next horse as she would undoubtably jump BE novices in a year or two. She takes everything on, height has never been a problem for her, and has never stopped at a jump- we have jumped her 3"9ft at home. Will get a video and pics of her jumping big at home for when we sell her.
 
she is a lovely girly and looks like she could turn her hand to anything
if people were looking to buy to add more value in the future, i would say 6k would be quiet steep (not saying shes not worth it though

) i would say 4-4.5k would be a good attractive price, which people would be willing to pay

will just "fly a kite" with her, see what happens. If it turns out noone wants her for that price, we will wait for a month, do a bit more and advertise her again for less

I would say about £4000 is about the right price. She is a fab little mare, and obviously has lots of potential, but is obviously still fairly green. At the moment I would say 3.5k-4k, if you waited a couple of months and got her a bit more established, done a couple of hunter trials, maybe a DC discovery, then £4500 easily.

She is an absolutely lovely little mare, and I'm sure she'll sell easily but I would be hesitant to price too highly in the current market. Word of mouth might be your best shot at selling her.

I would put her up for 4.5K and see what happens, I reckon if you advertise less than that people will think she's too cheap and wonder whats wrong!
Atleast then you have a bit of lee way (sp)!

My friend just bought a 17hh 12yr old ID x TB for £2000!! Inc english fitted saddle and bridle and all rugs!!
He was very cheap but I think the owner, has a back injury so she wanted a quick sale. She had paid 4.5K 3 yrs ago for him.
