How much...shoes

£60 whole set anf £30 fronts or hinds, that may sound obvious but some farriers charge more per 2 shoes than the 4 in total. however he is coming to do my boy and my friends boy tomorrow so should i be asking for a discount on a dual trip?

£60 a set. But my farrier doesn't charge me any more for giving Star rolled toes behind, or giving Be extra thick re-enforced shoes, or when he used to give my old boy NB shoes in front... and I'm quite sure he ought to

I pay £50 a set, plus £1 per stud hole. No call out fee but then my farrier usually has at least 4 or 5 to do and comes every Thursday.

I'm south west - I think it tends to be more expensive in the home counties though.

Just had mine done tonight and it seems to have gone up by £5, but I'm not sure what for.

I've had a trim and hot shoe on 4 feet for Milly and a trim all round for Jerry. Plus he has removed Milly's front chestnuts.

All came to £70. Last time 8 weeks ago was £65.

Oh, and he is rather yummy, worked in a lovely tight white vest top and was 10 mins early, so I think I can let him off the extra £5.

i pay £60 for a full set! bear's making them last 8 weeks at the min but im only gettin him out 2-3 times a week!! im dredding it when it will be every 6 weeks but luckily he has good hard feet and keeps them on but he does wear the toes out quite quick.

Mine is £87.50 (inc VAT) for a new set which they have every other time (i dont do much road work so the shoes dont get worn very quickly). And its £76 (inc VAT) for just a trim and the same shoes put back on.

After my previous farrier making Bloss lame from bad shoeing ive now found one who is excellent - so i couldnt care less what i pay, as long as my horses are shod correctly.
