How much does it cost to get the saddler out and do you have to buy new from them or do they stock second hand as well?

I think it depends on the area but for call ouot and assesment I think you'll be looking at around £50. They should stock secondhand and new saddles

My saddler charges £30 for a callout and saddle check. Though if I'm buying a saddle call out is free. Most saddlers do stock second hand saddles, call them and discuss what you want!

i just paid £10 for shared call out , £5 for saddle check , static & ridden , & then £20 for alterations to the flocking , all basically a refit of my existing saddle
