Ive been made redundant from my job and can only afford to keep one horse, so it has to be Archie. Ive also just bought a house (yesterday!!) so need to get my priorities straight.

Im not really attached to him at all as hes away at stud now anyways, so hes first to go.

If not il send her to a retirement home or a Sanctuary of sorts where she can just live out and get old.

It's doubtful a sanctuary would take her (she's not a rescue animal) - and retirement homes cost. (Sorry to burst your bubble). Is she no longer rideable??

Yes she is rideable, but i dont have the time or money to keep her

I have a friend who is interested in her, and also there is the option that her old owner might want her back.

If I wasn't in a similar situation (minus the redundancy) I would be biting your hand off for her - hope you find good homes for them x

Congrats on the house but sorry to hear about the redundancy.

If you really need a sale, he's worth what someone will pay. If you can hold out and not in a rush to sell I'd have said 4k

well ive got 2months until hes ready to be sold at weaning so thats what i thought i would advertise him at. Going to take some proper pictures tomoro hopefully and go from there.

He is lovely and will make a great horse but if you have to sell before winter I would look at the prices the foals made at the recent aution and advertise him at no more than £3.5k and take a sensible offer. If you can afford to keep him over winter then stick at £4k.
