I'm planning on bidding for this saddle
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?V...p;rd=1&rd=1
but i'm not sure how much to go to.
I can get the same one new on web
http://www.equestrianclearance.com/perl2...%2846cm%29+CAIR
which I will do if I don't win ebay one.
Thoughts on highest price to pay for ebay one much appreciated

The black ones are going for anything from £300-£400 if in excellent condition. I would think brown would be slightly cheaper. If you do an Advanced search on ebay you can tick the box for completed listings only and get a better idea of the price.

If this is the saddle you really want then I would have thought it would be worth going up to at around £400 maybe £450 for it.

Remember dont bid until the last 5 minutes and just put in your highest bid, you dont want to encourage the price up by bidding too early!Good luck!

No don't bid with 5 mins to go, bid with just 30 secs to go or you will be out bid, and then bid with the highist amout you are prepared to pay for it. That way if you win it for less than whoppy but if it goes over what your top bid was then you where not going to win it anyway, but if you bid with more than about 40 secs to go someone else can still bid against you. I know yes i am an EBay junkie.

This saddle was new march this year so is only a few months old. I hope to get it for £350 ish and am planning on being glued to the computer at around 1930 this evening.
TBH I think £400 is quite steep as I could buy a new one for £100 more. Watch this space!!!
