How much to build 1. stables 2. garage?

Double brick built garage, including base

2 stables, side by side(12 x 12 each) with tack room (6 x12) including base, timber

Trying to do my sums for new house move

It depends on the type of soil you will be building on. The softer the soil, the deeper your foundations will have to be and the greater the cost.

We had a garage built about 6 years ago and I think it came in at about £7k and we didn't need to have particularly deep foundations as on clay soil.

I would have thought stables will be cheaper than the garage as it'll just be block, not brick as well. Ooh, I'm assuming you'll be having a brick built garage and block stables there .

Cheers Q, yes. The garage foundations are already there, I need to pull the crappy one down and replace it. The stable foundations aren't there.
