I'm buying a 3.5t lorry to convert to horse box. Has anyone done this, if so how much did it cost you?

we found for the ramp, and fully lined and partitioned horse area it cost around £3,000 - 4,000. And that is before there is any living put in. The ramp cost approx £1,500 for the frame, springs and ply-lining, rubber and treads. Back doors about £450. Partitions approx 200 each then you have the partition hanging bars etc.

thank you that is what i roughly calculated for it. did you have the floor reinforced?

Yes we put down 18mm marine ply ontop of the original boards, checked the wood on the floor prior to putting down the ply as well.
