How much to pay for grazing land per acre

Can I pick your lovely horsey minded brains please - we're having to bid in for grazing license of field which is just over 5 acres (split into two fields)- in Hampshire, no lighting, very difficult access (only made easier for us as we hire the paddock that leads onto it rather than entering via a main rain into small part of field then through another gate across muddy footpath over a wooden bridge into rest of field) but don't really know what to offer - help please

a farmer local to us in kent rent s a 14 acre field off a friend for 600 a year, if that helps.
we bought our field 5 acre ten years ago for £30k
why not contact a land agent in lent we have hobbs parker and strut and parker, who insure would be able to give an idea of land in your area?

yep on annual grazing license - from the council - it's 5.4 acres I think would be 5 horses (well 4 real horses and a miniature shetland who thinks she's a 16hand tb! not just 29")

Depends how much you want that particular field! I lease 1.5 acres from the council and pay a bit over £500 pa. I have it all year round, ongoing not renewed annually.
