HOW MUCH WILL THIS COST - DOG AT VETS FOR THE DAY?

Further to my post this morning about reverse sneezing our beagle is going into the vets tommorow morning for the day so that they can keep an eye on her and give her a local anaethetic to check on her upper respiratory airway tract. Does anyone have any idea on how much this is likely to cost as partner is really worrying about how on earth he is going to pay for it as he thinks it will be in the hundreds? Surely a local anaethetic and endescope can't be that expensive???

I'd be surprised if it would be more than £200.

Although B's neuter seemed very cheap compared to some on here, and his is one of the most pricey vets over here!

Just checked your last post and watched the video. So your pooch has got a spasm of the trachea. Normally these spasms are sporadic and normally occur due to excitement, after exercise etc. My hounds and terrier have all had an episode of this and a gentle massage of the throat area tends to soothe it. Unless he has an episode at the vets tomorrow no-one will be any wiser and you will have a nice bill to pay!
