How much would I have to spend on a useable trailer?

I want to buy a trailer to take my lad to shows/lessons/clinics etc and actually start improving!

I have v little funds so what would be the cheapest i'd be able to pick up a trailer for? It would need to carry a 16.2hh.

Any ideas would be great.

we've got a Rice treble trailer which we're going to sell (when my OH gets around to it) for about £800 - it's sound and roadworthy with all working electrics etc

there are plenty of serviceable Rices about for that sort of money - take a knowledgeable friend to check it out (tyres, floor, electrics) - it may not be pretty - the paint does get weatherworn - but they're good, long lasting trailers :)

I would work on a £1000 but make sure it is useable and not a death trap for you horse or other road users have a good poke at the floor and make sure the brakes work at least good luck in your search....
