You'll need planning permission for stables; if I were you, I'd get temporary stabling or field shelters.

Solariums are usually around 1k.

We have just had a little L shaped timber block of 3 stables and store built by a highly recommended local supplier for approx £13.5k plus VAT. It would have cost more but we ordered and paid our deposit before prices of everything rose so steeply and the company only passed on part of the added cost. I am very pleased with the quality and how fair the company was.

The stables were only part of the cost though. The concrete base for the stables and yard cost thousands, I can't remember offhand how much.

Then there was planning, soakaway, water, electricity, lighting, fencing, a track to the yard etc ...

Can't help with the solarium and wash bay prices, but the stable/tack/feed block price was about a third of the bill, the groundworks and services (and planning) were by far and away the expensive bit.

You can do it cheap, it’s not totally necessary to spend a fortune, although obviously lovely if you can!
I have wooden stables on skids so no planning was required. We built a fenced area round it as a “yard” it’s not on concrete.
we levelled the area, put a thick layer of road scalpings, rolled and rubber matted the stable area.
I used Devonshire stables (I think!)
I don’t have a solarium but a hot horse shower which just needs running water and a gas bottle.
It was super basic at first but we have just added and improved as and when we were able.

Same here. Depending on the council you can put it on skids and no planning required. I have a mixture of home made stables and bought ones. Even my 24ft barn is on skids which didn’t add much to the cost but didn’t need planning.

OP just be aware, the price of timber has gone through the roof lately so they will be much more expensive than they were last year.

Hasn’t it just!
We are just about to make some kind of shelter for my old boy who is definitely better living out but it makes me sad ??‍♀️ He also dislikes rain. We thought we could do that pretty cheaply but the wood is extortionate at the moment!

Yes, this. I have 2 wooden stables on skids in the field. No base, just rubber mats and paving stones outside the doors. It works fine. Think they were £1500
