Just looking at options, I am having a back op end of May and hoping to be up and about fairly quickly, but been told can't handle horse or ride for a week. His jumping has improved so much recently but still needs work, roughly how much would a pro event rider charge for two weeks schooling? thinking if I am back on feet after a week I could have a few lessons whilst horse is there in second week.
Just want to work out if affordable before I make any calls.

well mine has just come back from a top event rider and he charges £650-£750 a month and that includes full livery and riding everyday. Hoping when i get back on mine it'll be like riding a rolls royce as i've heard she was going beautifully with him, with me however i doubt she will! Not quite the same rider but i'll try and do her justice!

I paid £250 a week when my horse was stabled with Andrew Gould. He was riding him 5-6 times a week though and I was up there having lessons which were included.

Alternative idea. Could you put him on full livery for the week at your yard and then get an experienced rider to school him for you at your yard?
Might well be a lot cheaper ;)

We start intensive remedial schooling specified to yours and your horses needs at £80 per week this includes full livery.
