I have been asked if I want to, to remove ragwort from the riding school fields, its a yard right next to ours. And I used to work for the riding school.

But yes basically been approached and asked if I would like to earn some money, to remove all the ragwort from the 3 fields they have, there is a lot of ragwort in it.
The owner said I come up with a price, but I have no idea. I would say it was 9 acres of land.

I am not sure but I would charge per hour because you don't know how long the job could take. I wouldn't be charging £5 an hour either, not for a job like removing ragwort!

How long do you think it would take you? If you can say it would take you a day and you'd get it done in a day then you could charge a flat day rate such as £250 for the whole job...

I have no ideaaa!

So i'd have to go along with Carrie1983, £250 for a full day job.

That's about £30ph - seems a lot for unskilled manual labour!

I think somewhere between £6 - £10 ph is more realistic.

Thanks everyone, sorted it at 200 pound doing it as often or as little as I want, But will be doing it all in a day so then I dont get lumbered having it all regrow on me.

I dont usually do this kind of thing hence me not knowing, Bit of extra money for me though so I am happy.
