A friend is on the same yard as me and has asked me to do full livery 2 times a week and turn out mon-fri.
I've no idea how much to ask for.

I think full livery at our yard is £12/13 per day if not normally on full livery. Turnout is £1 each time if needs rugging up then its £2 xx

Do you mean full livery or part livery?

Part livery (as in turnout/catch/stable/feed/rugs/hay) I'd charge probably £10 a day (this is what I used to pay) + £1 or £2 for turnout the other days depending on rug changes / how far you have to walk.

Full livery (which round here means exercise as well 30min - 45min) I would charge an additional £10 + depending on your experience e.g are you being paid to ride because you are good at bringing on horses (charge more) or does she just want you to hack out (charge less).

We pay £1 for turnout (no rug changes) and £5 a day for muck out, feeds made up, water changed and hay (pre weighed and netted) put in. So for T/O, B/I and all jobs done I'd probs charge £8 per horse per day but it depends how long it will take you. My big lad is pretty clean and is on pellets so his bed is very quick to do.

I was thinking of charging £15 per week.
I just didn't want her to think I was being cheeky.
The mare is very dirty (used to loan her) so takes about 20 mins to muck out. I'll have to do hay, water feeds rugs and bring in as well as turnout.

At my yard turnout is £2.50 per horse and mucking out is £10 a day... But hay and feed is included in the livery charges so I'm not sure what you'd charge for that

Full livery is generally £10 a day (not including exercise but including rug change) on the yards I've been on. I paid £10 a week (mon -fri) for turn out mornings (and feed 1st) so if the full livery days are also mon -fri then £25 wouldn't be unreasonable. Will you get any help in return (if you go away fit the weekend etc?) if so then maybe £20. I think £15 would be very reasonable, I'd have been more than happy if it was me you were doing it for :-)

Thats way to cheap - its at least 5 to 7 per day per horse for full livery = £20 or £28 quid, and then turn out for the other 3 days - = £6 quid - without rugs or boots and if she wants them then an extra £1 a day for rugs and 50p for boots. Bring in for the other 3 days another £6 quid + rug changes

And why are you worried - this is a job - not a favor - and a freelance groom would certainly charge a darn site more for travel etc.
