How much would you charge??

Not really sure how much to charge for a sharer. I'm going to advertise but not sure how much to charge per week. I have a 15.hh cob mare, 14yo. Lovely sensible responsive ride, hacks alone/company, 110% bombproof, totally safe, big jump. Will be stabled at night in winter. Kept at home. Good hacking. No arena but a schooling area (on grass), set of showjumps/poles available in the jumping paddock (big). Want someone twice a week. How much would you charge? No competing though.

£20? Presumably you would be looking for the sharer to do her stable chores on their days, etc. I have also seen people ask for the sharer to pay for every other set of shoes, things like that.

Would have thought £15 per ride, seems fair to me. And a contribution towards shoes.... maybe 2/7th of the price??

I was thinking £20 a week plus half the cost of the shoes every 10 weeks? Do you think this is asking too much?

what your thing seems fine.
when i had a sharer i got 100 a month, but she had full use of him, but with no competition riding

My sharer has full use of my horse, can compete if she wishes - jsut not allowed to let strangers ride him without my approval. For that she pays £160 - which is under half of what it costs to keep him each month

That amount includes farrier and feeding to! I pay for insurance and any veterinary needs though so she doesn't have to worry about that.
