How much would you pay for 8 acres of grazing in West Sussex?

I am wondering what the going rate is for an 8 acre field with trees around perimeter. Has water and natural shelter.

We are based in the South Downs National Park.

Please tell me what price you would pay per month for this.

Buying: you're looking at £10k/acre minimum. More if you're likely to be able to get planning for stables.

Renting: how long is a piece of string? It depends on hacking, roads, access etc. I saw 2 acres for rent last year for £300/month. I think you'd be looking at somewhere in the region of £800-£1,200/month to be honest.
