How much would you pay for a 28yr old horse?

That sounds much more like it. I'm amazed at the amount of people who would pay large sums of money for a 28 year old horse.....just wish I had one to sell

Horses dont age as well as ponies thou x

These are all top ponies well in there twenties ++

metric i think is 34 and been every year to hoys/rihs for around 15 ++ years

i think some ponies are still worth money even if they are old x

21, 22, 23 years old....perhaps I would pay for. 28 years and onwards - no way I'm afraid.

I've never heard of any of the ponies you are talking about but presuming they are still competing, I still wouldn't pay any money for them.

I wouldn't pay anything for a 28 year old, with one oldie already any money will go for his vet bills! Since Chex turned about 21 I've reckoned his market value is next to nothing, despite still being in good health and full work. If I had my own place I would take one for free though.

And I'm sure many would still pay for them even now because they can still jump the big tracks.

The average 28 year old though will probably go for nothing
