Good grazing with winter and summer field and small sick/intro paddock?

NO Yard - just shelter (not in "horse field) with tie loops.

No running water but field troughs automatic
No electric - but lights in shelter
Locked feed store
Parking

Also - not only HOW much would you pay - but WOULD you ever move to grass only facilities?
 
It depends a lot on the acreage and how many horses on it, plus the quality of the ground drainage (volume of mud!), and the type of shelter (I personally much prefer really good natural to man made).

I would only consider moving to that type of set up for a horse out of work or hacking.
I would also only consider that set up if there was access to local stabling in an emergency situation.

As to price - for good grass DIY I'd happily pay £20pw, and if in an area where there was a shortage of such would be prepared to pay more in order not to compromise.
Small pokey, exposed muddy paddocks. No chance.
 
10 acres in total. Very good natural shelter. Hard standing around winter field near gate and extended to area hay gets put out in winter

To share with others. Max 6 horses/ponies

No emergency stabling

Tbh I'd pay more than what I'm paying now for DIY at a yard, this is what I'm looking for, not bothered about facilities as long as my mare can live out all year round. Ball park figure £30p/w
 
Maybe £100pcm. Depends as there could be extra costs of buying leccy fencing/batteries/energisers/barrows etc. I keep my horse at grass, self maintained, and it's not as cheap as you think. Spent thousands on maintenance
 
I pay £150pm for 3 horses on 4 acres. Well drained normally but over grazed before I moved on so excess mud atm. With good maintainance it won't be a problem next year. Good natural shelter and a field shelter. Water and Electric (inc Leccy fencing) on site, good hacking. Have been able to put my own shed up and brick building is being converted into a emergancy stable/store for me.
 
£20 ish? I currently pay £100 for about 4 acres and a further £40 for about 2- the larger plot has running water the smaller hasn't but its only across a small lane so for me not a problem.
Yours sounds better in a way as its catered for horses living out with the hardstanding etc mines a quagmire but ive built stables there so they come In a fair bit.
Other than the obvious stable needed in an injury is the shelter suitable for your farrier or vet to work in in foul weather?
Sounds like the sort of place id love to find!...How much is it?
 
10 pounds per horse per week or in my case because I have all of it 40 per horse per calender month for exaclty what you are saying but only 4 ponies on 4.5 acres
Used to pay 70 per month for 7 acres
 
I have just moved to what you describe but with a small paddock (about an acre) and my friend and I pay £80 a month for 2 horses (£40 each). There is a bigger field resting and we will hopefully move to that in spring and the rent will go up to £100 a month or £50 each. There is stabling for emergencies but I'm sure we would be charged more if we needed to use them. We provide our own hay. We moved in a hurry as we were suddenly given 2 weeks notice to move out of our last place due to the owner putting it up for sale. The new place is half the price but rather more rough and ready, I quite like it!

For what OP describes, I would pay a maximum of £15 per horse/per week. If I was charged more than that, then I'd be looking to move to somewere with more facilities for the extra I'd be paying. (I'm in Buckinghamshire, which is expensive btw.)
