As title really.

How much would you pay for a non papered Cremello Andalusian Stallion, 15.1hh, 6 years old, backed last November and brought on over the Winter. I've seen him for sale on a UK dealers website, he's in Spain.

personally i have no idea, but AndalusianLover on here might have a better idea....

or there are a number of Andi owners on here who i am sure iwlll help!!

sounds nice tho!

i may be wrong, but i didnt think you got cremello andis?

I didn't think you could either. You can get cremello luso's though I believe. If the horse is unpapered, Id probably just value it based on a normal (non-flashy) breed. However I have no idea what Spanish horse prices are like... there's several Andalusian pro people on here - I'm sure they'll advise!

i think you can still get them graded with the bapsh.. again may be wrong.

value wise id say around 2-3k im working on that on even unpapered, because of his olouring you may be able to guarentee paliminos etc.

ive got a pre stallion i bought him at 13 (fully papered) and i paid 3k for him.

Do they have any videos of his paces without a rider, he looks lovely in photos but its hard to tell with the vid!

I don't know much about it but I'd have thought that even though a non-papered wouldn't fetch anything like the sky high prices PREs go for, a nice non-papered would still be a little bit more expensive than an 'ordinary horse' with similar abilities?

I have been sent a much more up to date video of him, he looks much better now and rides really nicely. Just wonder what price you think he should be?

It doesn't say on the ad that he is Andalusian. He is obv bred in Spain but that doesn't make him an Andy! As a stallion he is not worth much as he has no papers, so firstly I would be looking to get him cut. As shown in the video he isn't worth more than £3k - £4k.

Tha ad states;

Breed: Andalusian (Non papered)

They state he is an Andalusian just not a PRE due to his colouring, you can get Creams and Pally but the breed society in Spain do not recognise them so you cannot register them, hence no papers. At least that is what I have been told.

Yes they do, they have since 2002, so if they have told you this they are lying!

Any colour is now accepted into the studbook and the cream gene is now very sought after, they go for stupid amounts of money.

Personally, non papered andis are worth no more than any other horse and looking at his video I would pay no more than 2K for him.
