My mum is going away to spain for 2 weeks in a couple of weeks time and i work really silly shifts (1pm - 12am) 5 days a week which means i do the horses in the morning and she does them in the evening (skip out, rug up, chase around the school and feed)

With her away that means i have no one to do the evenings for me... usually i would ask my stepdad but he is really ill at the moment so cant do them and our livery yard doesnt offer any services

They are all stabled most of the time at the moment as Rio refuses to go out and Taz has mudfever which has started to rot away at his scar so we are keeping him in to treat it.

I do full muck out in the morning, make up haynets for both morning and evening, make up feeds and do water so all that needs to be done is dump them in the school, skip out, bring them in, dump rug on and feed.

Another thing is with Rio being a stallion they need to be confident to handle him as although he is laid back and easy to do if you give him an inch he will take a mile... And Taz can also be a handful when excited but that is very rare anyway.

If i cant get someone to do them then i will have to go on my hour lunch and rush through as its 20mins drive each way :o

where do i even go to look at getting someone to do it?
and how much would you expect per day including fuel?

People advertise these types of services in places like tack shops and feed merchants.

I would expect to pay anything between £8 and £20 for what you need, depending on travel distance, level of experience etc. Some people charge a minimum of an hour's work to make it worth their while which I think is fair enough.

Ask around your local tack shop if they know anyone. For slightly more "difficult" horses that need someone experienced, make sure you get someone who is a real groom, with experience and their own insurance etc. We had such person as a groom, she charged £12/hr and was so much better than your average groom. My horses were event fit or young and sharp, and I felt safe leaving them in her care.

I know you used to keep them near me in Ash Green but I've see you've moved. If you PM where you are now I can ask the girl who does cover for my horses if she will go to your new place. I have a couple of people I ask as they are part time grooms at larger yards so they do mine on their way home or afternoons off.
I usually get them over a couple of times before I need help to make sure they are confident with what they need to do. Anyway if you are interested it may give you a couple of options to try.

Where r u if ur near me I'll do I'm offering myself as a freelance groom I'm currently helping one lady but seen as urs is only temperary I'm sure I could help

There's a list of freelance grooms in the country on the british groom's association website, hope you find someone!
