How much would you pay - Totalis?

Complete fantasy questions assuming money was no object. The owners won't sell of course but based on current Market for dressage horses how much would you offer for the following three things without going stupid.

1) to purchase Totalis
2) to purchase a foal by Totalis
3) to put your mare in foal to Totalis

I was just thinking about stud fees etc today and wondered what other people were imagining. My answers would be;

1) 2.5 million
2) 8,000
3) 3,500
 
3500? Really? I would assume £10,000+ for sperm.

And I'm pretty certain a foal would be more than £8000 - you get foals with less bloodlines going for that in horsedeals! I'd imagine progeny would be £15,000 +
 
If you look at dressage stallions currently standing even world champions only stand for 1500 or so.

As for purchase of a foal I guess the first batch would command 20k plus but it will even off eventually. Even foals with the best bloodlines in this country sell for 4k upwards.
 
Probably more than 2.5 million to buy. Not sure really (and there's little point in thinking about it as he'll never be for sale, at least not all of him) but top international GP horses have been sold for close to 2 million, yet Totilas can score 15% higher and is still soooo young!

lol there's little point thinking about it as I can't afford 2.5million! I know he'll never be for sale. Just a bit of fun

If you did buy him - what on earth would you do with him.... lets think
a) turn him out in a herd of 30 + horses ? nope....
b) take him on a 10 mile pleasure ride? nope....
c) have a riding lesson on him? nope... insturctor would have you off him in mins to show you how its done !
d) take him to your local show? nope.... think you may be stoned
e) hang over gate of field - saying Yep all mine! YES thats a goer!
f) wrap him in bubble wrap and not let anyone breathe on him - let alone look at him - YES that one sounds good too..
