Hi there, a young girl did me a favour and I've said I'll pay her for helping me out but not too sure how much to give her. This is what she did:

Thurs night: made up 1 feed and got both my horses in.

Fri morning: again made 1 feed up, chucked hay in the field and turned both the horses out.

How much would you say is reasonable to give her?

Thanks!

It depends on if she was already on the yard or had to come up specially. Also are you going to need her help again, in which case don't go ott as you are setting a precedent!! I would think a nice thank you and a tenner should cover it quite well.

(When my kids started babysitting I was astonished at the oodles of cash they earned from v grateful parents - worked out at more p.h. than I get)

That's why I was thinking £8 if it's going to be regular a tenner if not.
