got dogby's horse insurance quote through today for £900

NFU,....its ridiculous its the same insurance as my mare had and she was valued at £5000 and hers was £330 and hes not exactly that far off that price...i cant understand it-definatly not paying that!!

That does indeed sound ridicolous! Would get some other quotes- I had a brill quote from petplan and decided to go with them.

thanks i think we will or just see how we can fiddle around with it!! we have been with them for god knows how many years with the farm/house etc (although not any more) but have always had the horses with them.

nearly had a heartattack when i opened it!! Mums going to ring them later!

I think they have made a mistake somewhere - I assume you have LOU as well? Have they added the cost of the premium for your other horses in that also?

SEIB are very reasonable and good to deal with.

I have been with SEIB through a really horrible extended lameness and subsequently LOU. They were brilliant, totally brilliant, helpful, constructive. My premium including LOU was quite expensive though, I think it was about £55 pa month, so about £650 p.a.
