I'm probably selling my yearling filly,( most probably as i have advertised her on a small forum, tho i'm in no rush as i haven't yet put her ad on horse and hound etc ) and i'd be interested to know how much i should expect her to sell for.
here's her breeding (no papers but i do have the paperwork to get her dna tested, just money was tight this month to do it)

she's out successfully competing with her owner who is about 13 years old. she could have easily gone out BSJA.

now some pics of my girly

she should make around 15.2hh, she's great to handle, inc vet and farrier. up to date with vaccs, feet regularly trimmed. turns out with mares or geldings and has been good when she's been turned out alone for a few hours (other horses have been brought in and ridden). catches no probs, lives in or out, was rugged all winter, worms from the tube and can be fly sprayed from the bottle

i should pull her mane but it's quite thick and i'd rather solo comb it a fair bit than torture her with normal pulling. again i need money to buy 1

I don't know how much yearlings sell for, but can I just say she is one of the prettiest yearlings I have seen

i had thought about just waiting till i get her dna test sorted which would be done by july. then advertising her seriously if no friend's of friends etc have shown interest by then, as i have told people she is for sale.
in a way i'm in no rush but i know she know won't do me as a riding horse for the future and the longer i keep her, the harder it's gonna be. i've handled her since she was about 4 weeks old and no 1 could catch her. up until she was weaned i was the only person she'd allow near her. she came out of her shell once she was weaned thankfully, even my non horsey OH can catch her etc. she's also my 1st ever owned horse. i bought her with my heart and not my head.

i would get her paperwork up together and without it, i would price her, at £1,000, i paid £1400 for a superbly bred fully papered 2yrold! or you could keep her and get a proven showing record or competition record under saddle, and then 'who knows' what she might be worth!!
