Sorry another how much post !! Although i havent done one b4 i have noticed a lot on here, but this time guys im struggling so please help..
I have a horse to re home ...I dont like the word sell !! But in the current market im after some opinions of what i should put him up for, ill be brief.
8 yr old irish tb 15.2 stunning looking the photos dont do him justice!
ex hurdler ran 40 times raced retired sound.
Very genuine and honest no vices at all and a pleasure to own. Wonderful paces i have had lots of complements ref this little horse, great jump, still a litle green sj but very willing. But xc another story very brave.
Snaffle mouth and works nicely on the flat. Hacks alone and in company very sensible and safe but also foward going.Very straight forward and quick to learn. I would like him to go to a competition home if possible , he would make someone a great small event type. Im in no hurry to sell him to be honest as i have been having so much fun so therefore i dont want to give him away as he is a type hard to find ...What do you recon?

A bit more detail would be useful. When did he finish racing? And exactly what retraining has been done so far.

He looks good, but there is no shortage of part trained ex-racehorses at the moment.

I bought a similar sounding horse (a bit younger and raced fewer times), at the same point schooling wise for £1000 including tack and rugs before the recession. You would be lucky to get anywhere near 4 figures for a horse like that at the moment IMO.
