How much could a little connemarax tb type 14.2hh competition pony carry? Doin pony club intermediate eventing and PN BE?

In answer to the original question, the estimates of 9-10 stone sound fair to me.

I dont think so...and dont really see the issue here.
I'd say over 10 stone, depending on how connemara'y he is?
Maybe 11-12.

I'm asuming that I know the pony in question and I think she could carry 9 -10 stone but I don't think 10 stone would be a good idea on a day to day basis.

i'd say it depended on the pony's bone and also the age, plus is it more connemarra build or TB? i'm sure the pony will let u know itself if someone is too heavy. if in doubt get an experienced person instructor etc to have a look and see what they say. my mate had a 15.2 conn x Tb her dun colour was conn but the rest of her was tb.
