Just taken the dog to the vets for her annual booster jab. She is fit and healthy so doesn't need any other form of 'treatment'. The vet gave her a once over, and within moments we were in and out.
I had expected to pay about £27, as my last 'dog bill' was £27.50 last year and that included a claw trim too - and from a ''more expensive'' vets, (we've moved house, changed vets) according to hear-say.
So, when I had to pay £40, I was a tad shocked! For one jab, one brief check over and nothing more. I questioned it, and was told that 'I was on the more expensive cycle of jabs, next years won't be so much'.
Is this true? Am I paying the right prices?
Maybe I'm just out of touch, been a year!!
