How much on average do you spend on haw and bedding per week? Found a potential yard but I'd have to buy in my own hay and straw, never had to do this before so just a querie really :)

There are a lot of variables - you would need to decide what type of bedding you were using, how long your horse is stabled, does he have rubber matting, do you need to provide hay in the field in winter, how big is your horse, how clean is your horse etc etc. Also I should think hay & straw prices depend on the area you are in (you can find out the mart costs or ask fellow liveries).
As a very rough guide, before I moved to Full livery at a yard I would estimate £23.77 a week in winter for each horse just for hay and bedding. That's 2 x bales shavings a week and 1 x round bale hay a month (not needing to provide hay in field, stable only) Turned out 8am - 6pm and stabled at night. At that point hay was £38 / round bale but there is a shortage this year again and may well be a lot higher by next winter. A lot more if kept in when I couldn't get turned out to the field because snow up to stomach. Therefore you can be factoring in a fair bit over your weekly livery price so it can wind up being far more expensive doing it that way if you're also paying for livery than going to a yard where hay and bedding is included in a fixed price IMO.

Nov - April I mix a bin bag of shredded paper which is free in with a bale of shavings at £7 per bale. I use half a bale of haylage a week which is £14 per half bale. I also feed some half feed which is around £5 per week.

It will vary depending on your area amount you feed how wet your horse is and how much they are in

Depends on how much hay/haylage is in your area - anything from £4 - £8 a small bale, around £30-£40 for the large rectangle bales and about £40 - £50 for the large round bales I've found (surrey way) Also, if you have space to buy in bulk & store it you may get slightly better prices, or you may even find a nice supplier who will sell you your winter supply, store it for you & deliver a smaller number of bales (say 25 at a time) as you need them, you do need to know the right people for this tho!
I figure in the depths of winter I use about 4 or 5 pads of hay per night (bring in around 4pm, in until 7am, tho not left from those times usually do skip out & check around 8pm-ish) so at the worst I get through 2 and a half small bales of hay a week, over summer I use nothing as horse normally would live out, but maybe if in I'd give 2 or 3 pads a night (depending how much grass horse is on & how long it's in for) so 1 and a half bales a week maybe.
Bedding, depends what you want, straw seems to be £2 - £4 a small bale, wood pellets work out about £2.90 for a 10kg bag or £4.26kg for a 15kg bag, I worked out I'd use the same quantity either way (about 10 bags a month of bigger bags but then I know a lot of people who on wood pellets use a lot less) Shavings seem to be about £6 - £9 depending on brand/supplier and use maybe 2 bales every 10 days?
As others have said, depends if you like thick beds, or have rubber matting & want a sprinkling of bedding, a clean horse or dirty horse & how long it's in for :)
