Sorry I know you hate these but I could do with some help as he will be going up for sale soon so he's sold before uni.

15.1 (approx) 7yo chestnut gelding

Lovely paces and has competed unaffiliated dressage with success.

Bold XC while looking after the rider

Super SJ, Brave, genuine and careful-Helps out the rider. BSJA winnings, BN DC's 07 and qualifed 90cm Ametur 2nd rounds. Scope to continue up through the grades.

100% box, shoe and clip and hacks alone and in company.

5* loving competition home.

But he windsucks....never in the field, only when in and doesn't do it every day cos he's odd

I don't know £3000? Due to the windsucking, a lot of yards will not even accept a horse that windsucks

OOOOOhhh! Very nice boy, right age as well for selling as he's done quite a bit but not too old with it.I'm rubbish at these how muches but i'd happily pay (if i had it!) £4500 for a horse that'd take me round a sj and xc course bravely,he is probably worth more though.I'd say his height isn't great for most people though so that might bring the price down, but for me he'd be perfect, shame i havn't got some spare cash....I love your training vid he's such a good boy very nice riding too.Had a nice fast round in the other vid, you both look like a very good team.Where are you you based?

Thank you

He is a very good lad really bless him.

I live in Bristol, but he lives in Gloucester so we compete around there.

Wind sucking is going to make him worth practically nothing me thinks

I think he is worth between £4k and £5k, even with the windsucking. He looks a lovely horse.

I don't think you would struggle with him being smaller, not everyone wants a large horse & there are plenty of pony club people out there who he would suit.

He looks like a super little horse!! I would think he should still be worth a fair bit even though he does wind suck. about 5k I think.

Wow, he looks fantastic. I dont have a clue with prices but if it were me if happlily pay in the region of 5k, windsucking would not put me off.

Thanks guys

It's hard to compare him with others on the market because the majority of the wind suckers for sale have done nothing so hard to judge his price.

He is super- shame he is'nt a hand bigger though
smile.gif
I would imagine even with the windsucking you would'nt be far out at £5k- he sounds like a super sort and they are hard to come by.

yep he'd definately appeal to PC people.A sort actually hard to find, such a shame he windsucks as his price would be higher but it wouldn't put me off really as mine are out 24/7 except before comps.

Yea I'd think he'd appeal to PC people- he could easily get on teams for evening and SJ.

You can bring him in on his own and stand him in and he doesn't do it...go for weeks on and and not hear him but he still does it that odd one time hehe.

Thanks for all your thoughts guys

I think he is fab - just the sort I would like.

Windsucking may cause a prob, but I would say you should get between £4000-£5000, he is gorgeous!

I was going to look at a mare almost exactly the same as him but 2inches bigger when I was horse looking, though she was a tad younger. She was up for 4k 2 years ago, so would say even with windsucking you'll be looking at 5k, as long as has the scope to go up the grades.

Yes i think that would be fine. Maybe £5,500. People will probably try to knock you down for the wind sucking so you may as well start high!
tongue.gif
Good luck! Shame you have to sell him, he looks a cracker!
