Purely out of interest. How much does a 14.2 eventer go for? Good dressage, not the best but ok and ever improving, Grade C SJer and plenty of scope there, although might not be a pure A SJer, jumped ABC's etc. Has had a few glance off's xc skinny's at novice level. But, only started eventing(aside from the odd pc ode) this year (i.e last season!) . Travelling reserve to European pony champs/trials (not sure what its called)...
very sound.
I think 13, pure connie, pretty sure easy to do, has been know to throw the odd rear but good in all respects, hacks, boxes etc.
I would find it very hard to put a price on this, as you hear of them going for tens of thousands etc. but just not sure? Not mine, but a friends.
Or is it likely to be see what you're offered as prices aren't often up for the 'public'
 
On the basis of it's European Squad selection alone I would say several tens of thousands...impossible to say more accurately without seeing it or knowing more.

What i'm a little confused about though is the BSJA aspect. Is it a 14.2 (or more importantly 148cms) or is it jumping seniors ? You refer to it being grade c and jumping ABC classes, but these are horse classes not pony classes

Rambo - shes in Northern Ireland so showjumping is under SJAI rules. Pony grades go from D-A over here.
Im not convinced thaT the pony would be worth tens of thousands in this country as there isnt an awful lot of competition in pony eventing ranks here. Also Grade C showjumping is fairly easily achievable, and at age 13 it should really be above this level. Iv known a similar then 11yo reg Connemara mare who was sold 18mths ago (grade B just a few points off grade A at the time), consistently placed at Pony1 and 1star level who made between 15-20k euros. She has the scope for bigger sj classes and has been consistently placed/winning at AB and ABC level. But she had the obvious advantage of being suitable for breeding and a very established competition career (inc top 3 placings in RDs equitation, working hunter and showing classes).

On the other hand, being a Connemara if you advertise him in the UK he is likely to command a bigger price than here, especially with eventing experience.

Yup, it's basically done very little before two years ago.
Did all the PC stuff last year (forgot about this!) Went to Sansaw dressage champs (think was 9th) and been to intermediate sj champs. (team didn't do well)
lol, quite possible. I will mention to her! Just wasn't sure if we are talking 20K or more, (he's only just been insured :0 )
That's what I thought.
There is decent competition, Athenry Cliff being an example. Pony 1star is different to Pony 2* though..
we sold a colourd 14.2, 8yrs, evented at pre-novice level and I think had potential for teams, although went to reasonably novice PC kid, for just under 9K so I think this one should be worth a good bit more.
