Thank you, posted a picture of him having a bath in the PG, Nico 4 months old!

I would be very wary of this horse Yorkshireyearling it sounds cheap and it doesnt sound like the dealer is completly straight, horses are normally cheap for a reason, its hard to find a genuine bargin!
 
i personally dont see how a 7yo can be called a schoolmistress, and sorry but with conformation like that it isnt going to be one either

however i do think 2k is reasonable, as it sounds like its bomb proof with a half decent jump in it.
 
If it's a dealer selling the mare then I'd expect them to be advertising said horse for about £3,500 if it's half-decent; if it's a private seller then who knows, they can be weird and wacky with their prices. I expect the horse was bought in Europe for something around £900 - £1,000. Sounds like the horse wasn't up to scratch.
 
My instinct would say there is something wrong...for a start if it was advertised as a schoolmaster you would expect it to have muscles in the right places/see some ridden pics/not be so cheap
 
I have looked at that add - If you were to give info on the seller I am sure some would advise you not to bother, I have no personal experience, but I understand her name changes - try googling.
 
Thank you all for your replies I am still in two minds about having a look at her (want to make sure it is a horse i really want in order to travel to essex to have a look - dont want a wasted journey!)
I have said I was worried about the price of her so I would certainly get every horse vetted for just incase included xrays (if finances permit).
Thankfully I have my eye on some other horses (other sellers) unfortunatly my budget doesn't stretch to providing me with nice horses
