How often do we all ride our horses?

Unfortunately not at all at the mo. My mare is booked into have a KS operation on 31st august. I'm a bit apprehensive about it but I've got no choice. By the time she's ready to be ridden again she will have had about 10 months off. I am managing to beg a few rides on other peoples horses ( including my daughters) but I guess I will be a bit rusty myself by the time I get to ride her again. :-(
 
One day off a week when he has his pamper session! I try to get out most days in fact: usually alternate with one "longish" hack and one "quick trot round the block" type thing; plus perhaps every 2 - 3 days go along the bridlepath and open up the pipes with a breezy canter.

Most rides here are circular which is nice, but mostly road work. Some hills which are handy for building fitness by trotting up. Quick trot round the block is about 10 -15, 20 or say 40 mins (depending on where you go); longer hacks are about an hour. To get to any open country is 30 - 40 mins hacking on roads. So possible, but need lots of time to get there, do it, and then get back home again.
 
Twice a week, but then Im a sharer!!! Not sure my legs would satand up to more than 2 days in a row anyway, lazy git that he is...... LOL
 
Sadly not as much as I would like due to work pressures. I'm lucky if I manage to get on three times a week at the moment, and that's riding both days at the weekend. I often dont finish work until nearly 6.30 pm or later, and by the time I get up to the yard it is getting too late to ride and still get home at a reasonable time (and I'm often too kn*ckered to get on anyway). My lovely OH is very used to not eating until gone 9 pm most nights but does get a bit grumpy if it gets to nearer 10!
 
up to 6 days a week but often doesnt happen and in the winter only 2 days a week due to school finishing at 6 and starting at 8:15
 
properly 6 days a week and then a day off or a gentle plod around bareback to chill out- unless it rains or something. but unfortunatly that will drop soon as i go back school :(
 
At the moment I aim for 4-5 times a week as got some time off work so have to make the most of it to beat the battle of the bulge (him not me!). Mainly hacking plus fortnightly lessons if I can manage it.
 
I ride one horse 3 days a week, and do things with the other twice a week who is returning to work. Oh and then little'un about once a week! So got my hands full!!
