How often do you compete

In the winter usually compete at an evening sj in the week and do 2 classes and then either a eventers training ( 1 class) / bd (2 classes ) / bsja ( 2classes ) at weekend.
then in the summer on average once a month
june - september one or two 3day show about 8 classes over weekend fri - sun ) then other weeks throughout the summer evening dressage (2 classes) in week and b.e. (1 class ) or bsja ( classes ) on weekends

my beast is a true allrounder apart from he HATES hacking

But this is only really because he needs tonnes of work or he gets horrble to ride , really bad tempered and stroppy think he thrives on work tbh if I could take him out less and the youngster out more it would be better

Depends on the horse and the level your competein at!!!
Flynn is intermediate eventer now, and since last BE last august has done one dressage comp (2 tests) and one SJ (one class and JO) and will do his first outing at Aldon, and then he'll just do BE when there near and big enough!!!
Titus has done more (7yo PN goin Novice) and Woody (my 4yo) will do outings about once a week from April/May (includes lessons not just competition! but will also have lots of holidays!).

SJ Once a week ish this time of year and normally just do 2 classes.

Tend to drop it off around October time then start again around Feb.

In the winter, I do BSJA with one horse and RC SJ with my other one. BSJA-wise, in my area its held twice a month over the winter so thats what we do. Unaffiliated comps are probably also twice a month. The rest of the year I do BE / BSJA / showing and RC type stuff. I basically compete every weekend all year round! I have 2 horses and its split between them mostly (I never take both anywhere) so neither one is competed to death if you know what I mean!
