I am competing in hunter trials, no higher that 2' 9". My plan is to join BE, so I want to get as much experience as I can, both for me & my horse!

Is two weekends in a row too much, if the ground is good? Its just that we don't have many by us, its just sods law that they are one weekend after the other! He will have a break for a couple of weeks after......

I think it depends how fit your horse is, if he's fit enough he should be ok, rest him during the week and just do gentle excerise so not to over do it.
:D have fun!

I'd go out everyweekend if I thought my husband would stand for it. ( Can't afford to either!)
Works out at probably 2x per month, but could be anything from an ODE -so full day away to a dressage test taking just a few hours.
