i jumped my daughters pony yesterday and thats the first time i have left the ground in about 20 years!! lol. was only about 2ft but that was high enough ...for now.
daughter sj once a week plus any shows we go to and xc ,only usually at the event as we have no access to xc jumps unless we go schooling
once every two weeks in the school as i don't really 'like' showjumping and i tend to only jump in my lesson which alternates between flatwork and jumping. XC - 1st sesh yesterday. Long may it continue but probably once every few months
Had my first jumping 'lesson' today - it was fab! Didn't go very high but it was a start. Chum really loved it and it was great to watch someone else ride him who knew what they were doing - not like me! They were really impressed by what he could do and he was quick against the clock too - hope I can do him justice one day
So - I don't jump at all really but hoping to change that..
well i jump quite a lot over the odd random obstacle and my usual jumps-i jump almost every day un less i am schooling him-bit naughty really i should do more schooling!
i try to jump just once or twice a week - keeps him sweet if i dont jump too much - but i can never resist if theres jumps up and they always seem to whisper to me! i do quite a lot of pole work when im not jumping though. but i'll have one/two days a week i'll dedicate to a proper jumping sessions! the others just accidently tuen into them!!
I dont jump much at all at home. I compete every weekend though, usually show jumping or eventing so that sort of does my boys! Although we also have the occassional jump lesson as well.
