How often do you ride in winter?

I work 8 til 6 during the week and have no school access. But I do try and take a 'long lunch' a few times a week and go ride for half an hour (yard is about 3mins from work).....

Slight confusion when I come back with hat-hair and smelling of horses (can't tell anywhere where I'm going, lunch breaks aren't really approved of!!)
 
I work full time, have 2 kids.....so defo at weekends, in summer several evenings during the week as we have a floodlit arena and I can ride while the kids are messing about on yard...or hack out if they are at home with OH.

This time of year weekends only, cos even tho arena has got lights the surface isnt great if its wet...

Horsie dont mind though, I was worried about him getting enough excercise ...he's turned out for 12 hours a day, and I saw him playing in the field the other day with one of the ponies...cantering around, kicking his heels up...no wonder he's got the most muscly bum on the yard, he excercises himself!!
 
5 days a week, as often as i do in the Summer, have an outdoor arena with floodlights, lately i've even been riding in the rain haha!
 
Only if I fancy it..... Merlin is out 24/7 and doesnt do strenuous exercise, so he stays fit enough by walking the steep hilly field all day

But unless I ride him twice a week I consider him to be laid off and therefore dont expect him to do anything remotely strenuous

i work 8/8.30am-5pm. or i work 5pm-8am.
ive got 3 horses-a 2yo,5yo,18yo.
baby doesnt get ridden yet!
18yo does light hacking and schooling 2x week
5yo gets ridden,hacked or lunged almost everyday
they are on DIY.
